For those that crave the special, the unique, the one of a kind, the Gibson Mod Collection is ideal.  This is where the historic guitar company takes things a step further, offering customized one-off models, rarities, prototypes and more.  We've been able to get our hands on a few, and love them all.  This one could be the best we've had.  It's a Custom Shop level guitar that's unlike anything we've seen out of the Custom Shop, and it's the only one ever made.

We present this amazing Gibson Custom Les Paul Special Double Cut from their 2022 Mod Collection.  It's the only one ever made, and instantly collectible.

The first thing you'll notice is the beautiful Cerignola Grove finish.  What is that?  Well, it's a finish you've never seen.  Pictures are worth a thousand words, and we have a great set of pictures for you to peruse.

This is a custom Les Paul Special Double Cut with plenty of custom appointments, beyond the exclusive finish.  It has Custombucker Alnico 2 pickups, cream pickup rings, amber knobs and an amber switch tip.  It also has a unique serial number and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (as well as a very cool and unique case).  It's a gloss flame maple with satin mahogany back and side, and is surprisingly light, weighing at just 7.3 lbs.  The mahogany neck features a SlimTaper profile, topped with a rosewood fretboard that has a 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.  It's super comfortable to play and keep strapped on.  For those that know the pleasure of a double cut, this guitar nails it.

You still get everything else that makes the Les Paul one of the most iconic guitars ever - and the ability to say that it's the only one out there.  We haven't seen a color quite like this before.

This truly unique instrument comes with its original hardshell case along with all of the original paperwork.  It's in excellent condition - the previous owner never really played it and kept it safely secured in his studio..  He's a serious collector and decided to part with this one as part of a purge to focus on other guitars to get.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly - not only does it look like no other Les Paul you've seen, but also feels/plays/sounds amazing too.
