It starts with a contoured single-cutaway mahogany body with a carved maple top. This combination of tonewoods and the set mahogany neck gives you the sustain and tone Les Paul are known for. Speaking of neck, this Modern Studio has a comfortable slim-profiled mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard with medium-jumbo frets perfect for any playing style and especially for bending.

This Les Paul comes with the classic two humbucker configuration of a 490R in the neck and a 498T in the bridge. These pickups give you the punch and thickness with articulation that you'd expect. There are plenty of tones to dial in with its individual Volume and Tone controls for each pickup, but also you additional tonal flexibility with pull/pull coil tapping and a pure bypass where the tone is completely bypassed and the pickup signal is sent directly out.

All in all this a true bang for the buck especially for a Les Paul. This guitar is in excellent condition - the previous owner is a collector that barely touched it, so you're getting a like new guitar on a great deal.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  As an added bonus, the guitar comes with a nice hardshell case (normally it's just a gig bag).  It's quite the score!
