Pre Owned 1996 Gibson M-III Black With Gig Bag
None more black. That's the motto of a special customer and friend of ours, who seemingly has an endless supply of unique and rare guitars, all in the best color of all, black. We are always excited to see what he brings in, and recently we were treated to laying eyes on this ultra cool Gibson M-III from the ultra cool year of 1996. That's the year that both Independence Day and Twister came out, not to mention the Nintendo 64. And Metallica released Load.
You want a rare Gibson electric that has a great variety of tones and plenty of attitude? Here for you is this Gibson M-III. It's not a Les Paul, it's not an SG, and it's most certainly not an ES-335 or anything like that. The M-III is its own animal, unique to itself, and retains cult status amongst Gibson fans. There have been quite a few variations over the years, with somewhat confusing nomenclature applied. This is the version with three humbuckers, standard tuners, and an ebony fretboard with pearl dot inlays.
Made right here in America, the guitar has a contoured mahogany solid body that's lightweight (the guitar weighs 7.2 lbs). You'll love the slick feel of its slim profile neck that allows for ultimate riffage. You'll also notice the Hum-Hum-Hum configuration. That's three humbuckers, making it a true tone beast. Yes, a true tone beast. Here at Beckerco Music.
This guitar is in good condition and comes with a gig bag. Unfortunately the previous owner did not have the trem arm for it, and we didn't have one on hand that fits. The guitar has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. Now it's ready to go from us to you!
