This bass was designed by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Jack Casady and represents the tastes and lessons of his sonic experiences with psychedelic legends Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. The bassist sought to find an instrument with superior electric tone and the response of an acoustic bass, and got it with this model.

This epic bass features the Casady-designed JCB low-impedance pickup and a three-position rotary impedance control for a wide range of tonal versatility.  You can get a surprisingly wide variety of sounds out of this bass, and it brings a lot to the table.

This bass is in excellent shape, is strung with flats and setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  Note that the pickguard is not on the bass - that's how it came to us, so we left it off, but it is included in the case so it's there if you want it on.  Also, the original hardshell case is included.  It's a great score for any bass player!!
