Pre Owned Gibson Custom Shop CS-336 Guitar 5A Quilt Maple Natural With OHSC

Earlier this year, the Gibson Custom Shop once again knocked the ball out of the park with an amazing build, rarely seen.  It has now landed here, and we're excited to present this CS-336 with an amazing AAAAA Quilt Maple top.   The previous owner only had it for a short time before bringing it to Truetone, and it's super clean.

The photos show the wood grain beautifully -- we can pause for a moment now to take them in.  

While visually similar to Gibson Custom’s ES models, the difference is that the CS-336 Figured Top is constructed with carved and chambered solid woods for a sound all its own.  It combines elements of archtop, Les Paul, and semi-hollowbody tones. The compact body shape is well balanced and resists feedback while remaining extremely resonant.  The 5A Quilt top with is stunning.  The mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard is very comfortable to play - this is a guitar you won't want to put down.

The sound is captured by a pair of Wildwood-spec Custom Buckers are loaded into the guitar.  These humbuckers give you punchy guitar with incredible note bloom, a rich midrange, a sweet attack, and a vibe that harkens back to some of your favorite vintage instruments..

Other features include cream binding, a stop bar tailpiece, ABR bridge, and amber top hat knobs.  It comes with the original hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.  The guitar has been up to play perfectly by the techs in our shop.  Now, it's ready for it's next home!
