For those that crave the special, the unique, the one of a kind, the Gibson Mod Collection is ideal.  This is where the historic guitar company takes things a step further, offering customized one-off models, rarities, protoypes and more.  We've been able to get our hands on a few, and love them all.  This one could be the coolest we've had.  It's a Custom Shop level guitar that's unlike anything we've seen out of the Custom Shop, and it's the only one ever made.

We present this amazing Gibson Custom '57 Les Paul from their 2023 Mod Collection.  It's the only one ever made, and instantly collectible.

This 1957 Les Paul has a beautiful Lavender Trance finish.  What is Lavender Trance?  Well, it's a finish you've never seen, and there's no great way to describe it - but pictures are worth a thousands words, and we have a great set of pictures for you to peruse.

This is a custom Les Paul with plenty of custom appointments, beyond the exclusive finish - it has Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups with smooth gold covers, gold hardware, gold knurled knobs, lavender swirl pickup rings, no switch washer or pickguard, and cream control covers.  Those pickup rings are really something cool so be sure to check out the photos.  It's the small things that make a big difference when it comes to customization.

You still get everything else that makes the Les Paul one of the most iconic guitars is. You get a toneful maple top with a bounded mahogany body, a mahogany neck with resonant rosewood fingerboard. For the electronics you still get the classic two tone and two volume knob configuration.

This rather surreal instrument comes with its original hardshell case along with all of the original paperwork.  It's in excellent condition - the previous owner only had a for a couple of months and never really played it.  He's a serious collector and decided to part with this one as part of a purge to focus on other guitars to get.  The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly - not only does it look amazing, but feels/plays/sounds amazing too!  

It's a one of a kind guitar that will not be here long.  We'll never have another, so don't fall into a trance, get it first!
