Pre Owned 2011 Gibson Flying V Ebony With OHSC

One of the coolest most unique guitar designs ever is the Gibson Flying V, here is a prime example from 2011. This is an Ebony rock machine with a powerful set of humbuckers that are perfect for any style, clean or distorted settings, but truly excels with a cranked up amp.

This model, of course, has the iconic V mahogany body shape. You get a speedy mahogany neck with slim profile and rosewood fingerboard. Stopbar tailpiece, Nashville tune-o-matic bridge for sustain and tone, and Deluxe tuners for tuning stability. Simple Volumes for each pickup and Master tone control lets you easily dial in your favorite sounds.

This version of the Flying V was reintroduced in 2009, after the guitar had been rebranded in 2003. Gibson USA production of the Flying V stopped in 2014.  The ones made during these years (this one is 2011) are highly sought after, and it's hard to find one in Ebony, especially in such good shape.

From Albert King to Dave Mustaine, from Jimi Hendrix to Kirk Hammett, the Flying V has been a mainstay in the world of guitars since 1958.  The look is iconic, the sound is powerful, and vibe is unmistakable.

This guitar is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and is a killer find!
