There is American, and then there is American Ultra! Behold this Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass V, a wonder of a 5-string bass. This is the cream of the crop of the American production line blending all the years of innovative designs.  And, as an added bonus, this particular one was customized with a matching headstock.

The American Ultra Jazz Bass V features a unique "Modern D" neck profile for an extremely comfortable feel and the tapered neck heel allows full access to the highest register. Featuring a 10"-14" compound-radius fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets this all adds up to a high-performance neck with no compromise.  We've had a number of 5-string basses here, and have to say that this is one of the most comfortable.  Additionally, the previous owner added glow in the dark dots on the side of the neck, so you can see where you're at when on a dark stage.  This fine bass comes with an alder body with sculpted rear body contours and is finished in Arctic Pearl, a super cool color that really looks good especially under great lighting.

You get an array of amazing bass tones with its Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups and a redesigned preamp and best part is all without hum.  With a slew of hardware that includes "F"-stamped lightweight vintage-paddle tuning machines with tapered shafts, chrome hardware and bone nut, you get the best of American craftsmanship on a classic bass platform with modern upgrades.

This bass is in great condition and comes with the original hardshell case.  It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop, and is ready to get out there!
